1.Current syllabi are reviewed and recommendations made for incorporating evidence-based learning beginning in the first professional year and continuing into clinical training.

2. Problem-Based and Team-Based learning are used to teach the logic of Evidence-Based Medicine so that students are able to translate uncertainty into an answerable question and develop efficient decision making skills.

3. Students are taught the basics of clinical research, clinical epidemiology and methods for doing an expedient literature search.

4. Particular emphasis is placed in developing unique yet integrated teaching methods for use on ward rounds, journal clubs as well as small and large group presentations.
